At IFDPA, we understand not all performers wish to take part in competitions, so we offer an amazing range of non-competitive options so your school and dancers can enjoy the magic of IFDPA at Disneyland® Paris without the pressure of competition!
IFDPA Disney Performing Arts® Pre-Parade
In the culmination of the weekend events, all groups will be invited to apply to take part in the Disney Performing Arts® Pre-Parade before thousands of people along Main Street, USA in the Disneyland® Park. The routine will be specially prepared by Disney® Choreographers bringing you all together for a final magical experience.
In order for groups to participate in the Pre-Parade, your group will have to prove to Disney® through audition by DVD that they have mastered the parade routine. The parade choreography will be sent to you by Take Us 2 The Magic so that that you can learn it in advance. If you are accepted, your group will be required to take part in a special pre-parade rehearsal during the IFDPA weekend. The rehearsal with other participants is the perfect place to perfect the choreography provided to you in advance. The Pre-Parade typically takes place late afternoon on the Sunday of the event (subject to change), therefore please be aware when making your return travel arrangements.
Please Note: Disney Performing Arts® Pre-Parade performance is subject to audition with Disneyland® Paris and all Disney® conditions. The minimum age for participation in the Pre-Parade is eight years old. Disneyland® Paris reserves the right to withdraw the Pre-Parade at any time without notice.
IFDPA Stage Showcase Performance
As part of the IFDPA experience all groups will be offered the opportunity to stage their own show (subject to time constraints, but no age restrictions) on the IFDPA stage.
Disney Performing Arts® Showcase - Perform on a Disney stage!
Take Us 2 The Magic work closely with the Disney Performing Arts Onstage® programme, and are delighted to offer all attending dance schools and groups to IFDPA a fantastic bonus showcase opportunity. The chance to perform together as a group in a Disney® Park. There is nothing more exciting, or more magical than performing on a Disney® Stage.
Apply as a group to perform on stage in a Disneyland®Park as part of the Disney Performing Arts Onstage® programme; the standard for which all of the performance opportunities are measured. Don't miss the chance of a lifetime to perform on a Disney® stage to an enthralled audience of international visitors. In order to apply for this opportunity, your group will be required to send us your audition footage to be presented to Disney Performing Arts® which they will then review and advise if you satisfy the requirements to perform in a Disney® Park. Places are limited and offered on a first come, first served basis to groups of 10 or more performers, aged 5 and over.
Optional Disney Performing Arts® Workshops
Time permitting, (recommended for a minimum four nights stay) your group can take part in a Disney Performing Arts® Workshops for an additional cost. Disney Performing Arts® Workshops are founded on a strong ethos for performance development, giving students the opportunity to reach for the stars through hands-on sessions with Disney® professionals. Emphasis is placed on key points including performance techniques, professionalism and teamwork, while not forgetting some Disney® magic all aimed at reinforcing the skills required for great performances.
Please Note: Minimum age for participation is five years old. Charges apply and a minimum of 25 places have to be purchased, irrespective of the size of your group.
Perform in the Magic Anytime of Year
For schools who wish to perform at Disneyland® Paris but are unable to join us at IFDPA in March or October. Perform in the Magic offers magical opportunities throughout the year to dance at Disneyland® Paris.
